Problem Statement

User research found that Booking experience is challenging for group trip organisers because the processes are currently being carried out in different platforms which obligates them to change devices and way of communication.

Any tiny mistake could compromise the overall quality of the experience for the players.

Hypothesis Statement

If we provide group trip organisers with a booking experience similar to what individual trip organisers are accustomed to, it is more likely that our product will achieve top-of-mind awareness among these users.

This will contribute to E-Gruppa gaining recognition, attracting new users, and becoming the primary choice when organizing sports trips.

UI Design

Branding

After refining the usability of eGruppa, I shifted focus to creating a visual identity that embodies the platform’s core attributes: Reliable, Accessible, Professional, and Modern. These elements would guide the UI design and branding, ensuring a consistent and compelling user experience.

Mood Board

To establish the visual direction, I created a mood board using Pinterest, gathering inspiration from color palettes, typography, and imagery that aligned with eGruppa’s values. This process helped define the aesthetic foundation for the platform.

Logo Design

Building on the brand’s attributes, I brainstormed and sketched logo concepts that reflected eGruppa’s purpose and identity. After exploring multiple ideas, I selected a design that was modern and professional, resonating with the needs of Josep and the sports community.

Style Tile

For the eGruppa project, the company provided a predefined color palette and branding guidelines, which I used to ensure alignment with their established identity. To further enhance the visual direction, I created a style tile that brings together all the design elements cohesively.

eGruppa’s brand attributes: unique, sincere ,real and friendly—guided the visual design. The typography is clean and modern to convey professionalism, while vibrant accent colors add energy and accessibility. This balance reflects the brand's commitment to delivering a seamless and user-friendly platform for group travel organization.

Style Guide

Using the provided style guide as a foundation, I integrated eGruppa's branding into the design of the UI elements for the platform. To ensure consistency across future developments and to provide a clear reference for other designers, I created a comprehensive UI kit. This kit documents all key elements, including buttons, forms, icons, and color styles, maintaining coherence throughout the user experience.
